Hello! We are Lucy and Amy, a mother and daughter from the beautiful Black Isle in the Scottish Highlands.

Lucy is an architect, knitter and painter of watercolours. Amy is a graphic designer and bookbinder.

It's not unusual to find us both making and creating in one way or another. Loom + Lichen was born as a place for us to channel our creativity and share our work.

We are passionate about looking after the environment so all our products are created as sustainably and thoughtfully as possible. Lucy knits all our hats by hand on the Black Isle (usually with Maisy the springer spaniel at her feet). All our cards are designed by us (Lucy paints using watercolours and Amy designs digitally) and printed on recycled card.
